xQc accuses Alinity of ‘always playing the victim’ after her Twitch ban

Popular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has shown little sympathy for fellow streamer Alinity Divine following her recent ban from the platform, claiming she is always the “victim of everything”.

Alinity, who boasts over 850,000 followers, was recently tricked into showing pornography during one of her recent broadcasts by a channel who hosted her – receiving a three-day ban as a result.

Alinity hit out at Twitch on Twitter, claiming the ban was unfair and blaming moderators for allowing such content to be streamed on the platform in the first place.

xQc takes aim at Alinity over recent Twitch ban

However, former Overwatch professional xQc wasn’t impressed with her excuses and believes she should take responsibility for her actions rather than blame other people.

“I don’t like to speak bad about other partners, but Alinity never ever takes accountability for anything at all,” he said. “She always deflects and is the victim of everything that happens.”

The Canadian continued his rant stating it would be impossible for Twitch to sift through all the banned content on their website and hand out bans.

He said: “You cannot expect Twitch staff to dig in and ban all the bad content – it’s literally impossible.”

xQc believes that Alinity could have easily avoided the issue by simply hiding her screen while taking a look at which channel hosted her.

“It’s her job, turn off the monitor, look, turn it back on – it’s that simple,” he added.

Given the relatively short suspension, it’s unlikely that Twitch will be willing to reduce it in the coming days.

Nevertheless, Alinity may want to heed xQc’s advice in order to avoid another ban in the future.
