Woman under fire for claiming she named her baby ‘Chlamydia’

TikToker claimed she named baby Chlamydia

In a viral video, a woman claimed that she’d named her new baby ‘Chlamydia,’ and she’s come under major fire on social media. 

Under the username @isatandstared, Kass has gained more than 300,000 followers from posting satirical content on social media.

Some however, that she took one of her most recent pranks a bit too far. In the TikTok video, she says that she named her baby ‘Chlamydia,’ after contracting it from the child’s father. 

“I named my daughter chlamydia because I contracted the disease from her father. Chlamydia was always on my list of baby names. 

“I’ve just loved that name. I think it’s absolutely beautiful. I went back and forth because I’m like, it is a sexually transmitted disease, and she might get made fun of for it.”

“Now she’s only four years old and she started preschool this past year but she’s having a really hard time at school because somehow these kids know that chlamydia is an STD,” the TikToker continues. 

People fooled by TikToker’s prank saying she named her baby Chlamydia

After the video was posted on social media, many people were outraged, not initially recognizing it as a prank. 

“Who the f**k names their kid chlamydia? That’s horrible,” one disgusted user wrote. 

Another agreed, stating “Nah you’re just straight up a terrible mother you literally set her up for failure. Who will hire someone named chlamydia.”

However, some fans knew Kass’ reputation as a prankster, and found it hilarious that she’d had so many people fooled: “I love the comments from people who genuinely believe she named her kid Chlamydia.”

“It’s satire content, which some people find funny,” another attempted to explain.

Another woman came under fire from social media, after it was revealed that her children were being bullied as a result of her OnlyFans account.
