As any aspiring Twitch streamer knows, building up a loyal following of viewers is probably the most difficult part, so one streamer has made sure he is promoting his stream 24/7 – by tattooing it on his face.

Streamer ‘FakeNerdBoy’, who has just short of 20,000 followers on Twitch, made a life-changing decision recently, having the direct URL of his channel permanently inked just below his left eye.

He streams a variety of games, and with that many followers no doubt has a solid fanbase, but he apparently wants to take it to the next level.

Twitch as a platform is undoubtedly the most popular location for video game streamers, with a millions of viewers daily and robust monetization features.

With that, some gamers and streamers are making an impressive living streaming daily, with the most popular estimated to be making seven figure salaries.

While FakeNerdBoy might not be at that level of Twitch stardom yet, his decision to literally have his channel name inked on him forever, directly on his face, is a sign of dedication like no other.

He posted an image of his tattoo as well as one of it actually being applied, with a message to his Twitter followers explaining he wants to take his streaming career to the next level.

For many streamers, taking it to the next level would typically entail streaming more hours, improving the quality of equipment or giving their overlay and branding a revamp.

But for FakeNerdBoy of course, the idea took on a whole new meaning – and it must be said, seeing someone out in public with their Twitch URL tattooed on their face may just prompt you to check them out.

FakeNerdBoy will now effectively be self-promoting every time he appears in a photo or video posted on social media – or even by just stepping outside.
