YouTuber Tana Mongeau has more going on than her recent divorce from ex-hubby Jake Paul; the internet celeb has also been dealing with a concerning health issue, which she shared in her ongoing MTV reality series, .No Filter.’

Mongeau’s MTV special has hinted at this health concern throughout the series, with the star constantly coughing and attributing the issue to her smoking habit.

Even her friend group considered the possibility that she had Tuberculosis, but Mongeau had yet to receive an official diagnosis until manager Jordan insisted that she go to a respiratory specialist to discover the source of her breathing problems.

YouTuber Tana Mongeau’s MTV series delved into her respiratory health issues, with the star suffering from a constant cough.

“I’ve had like a chronic cough, to the point of coughing so hard I feel like I’m going to throw up,” she described the issue. “…When I lay down, it feels like there’s water in my lungs.”

Allegedly coughing up blood and suffering from debilitating anxiety about the matter, the YouTuber finally saw a doctor to get to the bottom of her health scare — and thankfully, it’s nothing as serious as Tuberculosis, which is caused by bacteria in the lungs.

At the urging of her manager, Mongeau saw a respiratory specialist, who confirmed that she is not suffering from Tuberculosis.

After taking a breathing test, Tana’s specialist confirmed that she was suffering from asthma potentially brought on by a virus, for which he prescribed a temporary inhaler to counter her discomfort.

However, she didn’t seem upset by this diagnosis, and even compared the matter to a “clean bill of health,” also refusing to give up smoking in spite of her condition.

“I’m not gonna make any changes to my health,” she told her manager during the drive back to her home. “I don’t really see myself as someone taking that kind of medicine right now. …I guess asthma is better than Tuberculosis.”

After joking about her diagnosis with her friends, the star admitted that the issue “was kind of serious,” and claimed that she would be taking the inhaler as prescribed.

“I’m super stoked that something really hard to control is not wrong with me,” she told her manager. “I will attempt to make it better, even though I do not care about it.”

While Mongeau may not be overly concerned about her asthma, comments on MTV’s episode show ample investment from fans, who are urging the YouTuber to listen to her manager’s advice in wake of her results.

Commenters across YouTube are taking the side of Tana’s manager, after the YouTuber seemed to express a flippant attitude toward her diagnosis.

For now, it looks like all viewers can do is watch and wait, after she teased upcoming content related to “mental and physical health issues” in a March 17 Tweet.

TikTok star Sienna Mae faced backlash from fans after she posted a TikTok of herself going on a spontaneous trip to Hawaii.

TikToker Sienna Mae found herself at the receiving end of criticism recently after she posted a TikTok implying that she had gone to Hawaii to surprise her boyfriend, fellow TikTok star Jack Wright.

In a video posted on her TikTok, she can be seen receiving a text from her boo, who was already in Hawaii, saying how he “wished [she] was here” before throwing clothes in a suitcase, driving to the airport and surprising Wright on a Hawaiian beach.

Due to the current health crisis, fans didn’t react well to Mae’s trip. Several TikTok users reminded Mae in the comments that “we are in a p*ndemic”, with one TikTok user quipping that they “can’t even go to the store” due to the current restrictions.

In response to the backlash, Mae commented on her original TikTok claiming that she flew to Hawaii for work and had tested negative prior to her arrival.

Mae reassured fans that she had tested negative and was taking all the necessary precautions during her trip.

However, for fans on Twitter, this wasn’t good enough. One user said: “She’s privileged enough to have a job that she can comfortably work from home with and make thousands of dollars a DAY. Why exactly does she have to go to Hawaii?”

Meanwhile, another Twitter user cast doubt over Mae’s claims, joking: “Yeah right! I’d like to know what job lets you run off to Hawaii! How can I get hired there?”

Mae is yet to publicly comment further on this backlash.

Who is Sienna Mae?

Sienna Mae Gomez is a California-based TikTok star who has seen exponential growth in popularity during the late summer/early autumn of this year.

Alongside her work as an influencer, Sienna Mae is also an outspoken advocate for body positivity.

Many would be intimidated by such a rapid rise to fame, but in an interview with The NetLine in September, Mae said: “I love it. I wouldn’t change it for the world. This is what I have been saying I’ve wanted to do ever since I came out of the womb. I’m really happy and I really am thankful for the support. I am ecstatic about my TikTok fame.”

Mae has been dating Jack Wright since October, with the two confirming their relationship with a kiss at Saddle Ranch on 12 October. She met Wright at the high school they both attend.
