Paul and Mongeau were 'married' live on pay-per-view network Halogen on July 28 and it didn’t take people very long to start questioning how legit their union actually was.
Many people, including YouTuber David Dobrik, have questioned if the pair’s marriage is even real, or just for show: “Is the marriage real? No,” Dobrik told Entertainment Tonight with a laugh. “I think someone looked it up and they didn’t have marriage papers.”
Buckle your seat belts, because the Mongeau/Paul Twitter drama has heated up after Jake, the younger brother of Logan Paul, was seen in a photo with his ex Erika Costell at friend Justin Roberts‘ big birthday party over the weekend.
The next day, the pair were allegedly spotted and photographed out having lunch with each other. This was enough to raise some red flags for Tana fans even before they found out Mongeau didn’t know and only found out through Twitter, according to her Instagram story.
In her Instagram Story after, Tana remixed the words to Ariana Grande‘s iconic breakup hit “Thank U, Next."
“Thought I’d end up with Bella, yet it wasn’t a match. Wrote some songs about Hunter, now I listen and laugh," Mongeau sang. "Even actually got married and for Jake I’m so thankful, except when he goes out with his ex and I find out on Twitter.”

Jake Paul and Costell broke up in November 2018 after seven months of dating and Jake said the split had made them both "healthier".
There doesn't seem to be any bad blood between the two, either. “She has helped me become a better person on so many levels,” Jake said after he and Costell split.
Bella Thorne, who was previously in an open relationship with Tana Mongeau, slammed Jake Paul on Twitter, saying: "While her family is going thru some shit...not a good look Jake."

This weekend, Tana shared that she missed her honeymoon with Jake because of a family emergency - which had fans even more upset with Paul's apparent unfaithfulness.
There have been a ton of questions to how legit the two YouTube star's marriage is and this latest episode doesn't really support the idea that the wedding was actually real.
Even if the wedding isn't real, as Dobrik suggested, it's still doing what it was meant to do.
“It doesn’t matter because at the end of the day it’s so entertaining, and the fact you're even talking about means they got the job done,” Dobrik said. “So, they’re killing it.”
Some Jake Paul fans have accused Tana of being hypocritical in her reaction to the photographs, stating that the YouTube and Instagram star still regularly spends time with her former love interests, like Bella Thorne.
