Nintendo fans go wild after Chrissy Teigen tweets about Luigi’s Mansion 3

Model and television personality Chrissy Teigen set social media ablaze when she tweeted about Luigi’s Mansion 3, sending Nintendo fans into a frenzy.

Chrissy Teigen is one of the most popular television personalities in United States, with millions of followers across her social media accounts.

The Hollywood star delighted Nintendo fans when she made posts on Twitter praising Luigi’s Mansion 3, which released in October for the Nintendo Switch.

The model tweeted out to her 12.1 million followers that she loved the latest Luigi game on the Switch. “LUIGI’S MANSION 3 IS AN INCREDIBLE WORK OF ART!” she said, which sent fans into a frenzy.

As of the time of this article, the tweet has over 22k likes and 12k retweets, making it one of the most popular social media posts about the lovable plumber all year.

Nintendo fans were excited to see someone that famous talk about the ghost-hunting series, while many of her followers exclaimed that they would be getting the game for their children this Christmas.

The popular celebrity then elaborated further about why she enjoyed the game, citing the addictive gameplay. “I can’t stop power vacuuming everything in the room, absolutely everything,” she said.

This is in reference to the many hidden items throughout the game that can be sneakily obscured in places such as curtains, carpets, and cupboards, and can only be obtained by using the vacuum.

The popular celebrity praised the Nintendo franchise on her Twitter.

Pro esports organization Team Solo Mid jumped in on the excitement, and replied to the model. “This is a tweet we can get onboard with,” the official Twitter account said.

If there’s every a pro Luigi’s Mansion team in TSM’s future, Chrissy has a shot.

Other celebrities such as Riverdale’s Lilly Reinhardt also jumped into the conversation, and exclaimed they were playing the Luigi title as well, showing the true reach of the Nintendo brand.

The third entry into the Luigi’s Mansion series performed extremely well, as it ranked as the third best selling game of October, according to the NPDs – which tracks the sales of games.

While the game was already popular in its own right, it’s always a treat for fans to see major celebrities playing their favorite games as well, as the medium can bring everyone together.
