Team Liquid’s Epitácio ‘TACO’ de Melo didn’t hold back at the ECS Season 5 live finals following his team’s second victory over Fnatic in Group A.

The Brazilian player is known for being a confident personality, and that appeared to have caused an issue with Fnatic player, Jesper ‘JW’ Wecksell, after their first matchup on day one.

The $660,000 tournament is taking place at the SSE Wembley Arena in London between June 8th and 10th, as eight teams fight for the $250,000 first place prize.

Group A was deemed considerably stacked with Fnatic, Team Liquid, Astralis and Cloud9 all looking to advance through to the playoffs.

Team Liquid took down Fnatic in their first game on Friday, June 8th, but the two teams rematched the following day for a spot in the playoffs.

Fnatic’s JW had suggested that Team Liquid should remain humble in a pre-match interview, and that appeared to cause an issue with Taco.

Following Team Liquid’s fairly comfortable win, Taco took the mic in the post-match interview and delivered a scathing speech on the subject.

“It’s hard to stay humble when you are the bad wolf, right? You don’t see the bad wolf afraid of the little pig. So I’m never humble, I think, I hope that JW comes back stronger because I’m getting tired of sending him home. I think it’s the fourth in a row?”
