Toradora! cosplayer blows fans’ minds with perfect Taiga Aisaka outfit
J.C.Staff / Instagram: @kaddicosplayFans of Toradora! went wild over a cosplayer’s incredible portrayal of protagonist Taiga Aisaka. The mind blowing re-creation is so accurate, it’s as if the palmtop tiger has marched herself from out of the anime itself.
The classic slice of life anime was released in 2008, and became an instant hit with viewers who connected with its colorful cast of characters. The comedy centers on two students who agree to help each other try to get with their romantic crush.
A talented cosplayer shared her take on the show’s female lead Taiga Aisaka. The insanely accurate costume has brought the short-tempered character to life and has left fans of the series in awe.

The story follows students Ryuji Takasu and Taiga who both accidentally discover the other’s romantic crush. Making a pact, they work together throughout the school year to try to score a relationship.
Cosplayer ‘kaddicosplay’ shared her costume of the show’s female lead on social media, and looked exactly like the character. Her insanely detailed outfit is so accurate, it has us seeing double.
The talented artist captured the anime heroine’s red school blazer jacket and blue pleated skirt to perfection. Collaborating with photographer ‘rendomfotografu,’ the cosplayer struck a pose on top of a desk in front of a chalkboard.

In the show, Taiga has a short-temper and is ready to explode on anyone that gets in her way. Kaddi embodied the character’s sassy attitude in another photo, holding a wooden broom while staring down her foes.
Despite having an explosive personality, Aisaka is extremely tiny which earns her the nickname “the palmtop tiger” from the other students. In an adorable photo, the German cosplayer points out the character’s height.
Fans of the series were in awe of the cosplay artist’s faithful take on the character. User ‘freyzer_606’ exclaimed “I don’t know how it’s humanly possible for you to be this perfect, it’s like the best Taiga I’ve ever seen.” Another fan ‘au_cos_summers” said “Praises to this palm top tiger.”

The classic anime was adapted from a wildly popular light novel written by Yuyuko Takemiya in 2006. The series ran until 2009, and has also spawned a manga version.
Toradora! can be watched in its entirety on streaming service Crunchyroll. The site hosts both the original subtitle version, and an excellent dub for those that prefer English.
