Chairman Rose brought to life

In the beginning of the game, the player is quickly introduced to the Chairman who heads up the league the protagonist is entering to become the region’s stronger trainer, and unseat the undefeated champion Leon.

Cosplayer ‘moknowsdesign’ shared his costume on Instagram, and blew away many fans who thought he looked almost identical to the Pokémon character with his accurate portrayal.

The artist perfectly recreated his slick gray and white vest suit, from his watch to his red and black loafers, nailing even the intricate details like the gold tie pin, and badge on his lapel.

Not only does the cosplayer get the Chairman’s outfit completely right, his hair naturally mirrors the character, as well as his facial hair and his eyes. The side-by-side shot he posted is uncanny, and has many seeing double.

Taking things further, moknowsdesign teamed up with a fellow cosplayer who was dressed up the character’s loyal assistant Oleana, making the whole thing feel complete.

As a final touch, the artist also carried around a Master Ball, which is the incredibly rare iteration of the Pokéball that players only get once after beating the game that guarantees them a 100% catch rate.
