Apex Legends has inspired many of its players to produce some seriously impressive cosplays already in its short lifespan, with fans recreating looks for several legends, and this Wraith cosplayer looks ready to jump right through a portal.

The battle royale game’s online community has proved itself time and time again to be one of the most creative around, whether it be interesting concepts being put forward to creatively tweak the game, incredible replica outfits of their favorite legends, or unbelievable fan art.

Respawn Entertainment have only fuelled that creativity, too, by adding new content to their title such as fresh characters, weapons and at the start of Season 3, a new World’s Edge map as well.

Apex Legends World's Edge
Apex Legends players take great inspiration from the game’s world and characters for cosplays.

However, it’s one of the original cult heroes that has inspired a fan to go the extra mile with their cosplay, choosing Wraith to base their design on.

Twitch streamer and cosplayer allielice_ shared one of her latest outfits to Instagram on January 22. The cluster of posts gave fans of the game and her account’s followers – of which she has over 10,000 – an idea of just how to recreate one of the characters from Apex Legends.

While some of the colors aren’t exactly the same between her version of Wraith and the character we see in-game, the attention to detail on the belt, leg clips, dark jacket and gloves makes this one of the best attempts to recreate the fierce fighter.

It could, however, be a great idea for a new skin. After all, many other legends have been given slight tweaks to their outfits from time to time.

In another post, uploaded on the same day, allielice_ gave us a closer look at her dazzling costume. Let’s face it, this pretty much has it all in terms of features you would expect to see Wraith wearing.

This, of course, isn’t the first Wraith cosplay that has emerged from the game’s online community. Other fans decided to incorporate contact lenses in order to eliminate the pupils of their eyes in order to make their faces seem as accurate as possible, as seen in another chilling cosplay posted back in December 2019.

Based on how impressive it is to look at, as well as some other designs that have been quite similar to it, Apex cosplays are only getting better and better.

All confirmed buffs coming in Apex Legends Season 7

Apex Legends Season 7 is almost here, and that means changes to characters. So, we’ve rounded up all the buffs that Respawn have confirmed so far.

With each new Apex Legends season, players are always looking forward to getting their hands on a new Legend as well as seeing what’s been changed to existing Legends, weapons, and items.

As Season 7 is on the horizon, Respawn have begun to roll out their teasers – with a familiar-looking UFO turning up on both Kings Canyon and World’s Edge.

Aside from that, the devs have also been planting seeds about what buffs and nerfs are coming in the new season. So, we’ve rounded up the buffs that we know about so far.

As one of Apex’s most popular characters, players have been desperate for Respawn to give Mirage a power increase, even after his abilities rework.

Those changes have always been on the horizon, as devs have answered numerous questions with positives answers about buffs, and those promises will finally come to fruition with the start of Season 7.

Daniel Klein, a game designer for Respawn, confirmed that they’ve been testing changes to his Life of the Party ult, so that could be the main change that the Holographic Trickster receives next season.

Mirage is finally set to receive some changes.

Octane is also confirmed to be getting some positive treatment, but Respawn say it will only be a “tiny buff,” so no indication exactly what it will be yet.

As for Rampart, while a buff has been confirmed, there haven’t been any hints as to what it could entail. Since her introduction, players have made a number of suggestions – including being able to move around while firing her minigun. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see on that front.

Octane will receive a “tiny buff” in Season 7.

Pathfinder will also be receiving a change to the cooldown on his grapple ability. However, the last time this was labeled a buff, it actually turned out to be a nerf

Not a buff as such, but Respawn have also confirmed that lots of progress has been made on audio problems, which have been plaguing the game for months, and these fixes will be coming in Season 7.

As for what else is coming in Season 7, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know here. We’ll just have to wait until November 4, when the new season starts, to see it all in action.
