FaZe Clan’s Thomas ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto and OpTic Gaming’s Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter might be rivals on stage, but this clip shows that they still know how to get into some hilarious friendly banter on occasion.
The two players were facing off in a 4v4 Search & Destroy tournament when Crimsix decides to engage in some friendly trash talk after losing to ZooMaa’s team.
ZooMaa says that Hacienda was his worst map but then Crimsix fires back by saying that it’s actually ZooMaa’s best map and once ZooMaa asks how he knows that, things escalate for the better.
“I’ve actually been watching your stream,” Crimsix tells ZooMaa in response.
ZooMaa then brings the fire with a reply of his own. “Yeah, you watch my stream every year, you copy my routes. Bro, [former OpTic Gaming member Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper] told me the tricks, that you’ve been copying my routes since [Advanced Warfare].”
Crimsix quickly denies the claims of ZooMaa before saying that ZooMaa’s teammate Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner is the one that carried him in the tournament, causing ZooMaa to try and get the last word in.
“Even if you do know my routes, you ain’t gunning me anyways. You suck. You can’t even L-trigger,” ZooMaa tells Crimsix.
Crimsix wasn’t ready to let that be the end, replying “What?! I fucking fried you!” as the two continue going back and forth for the next few minutes.
While there’s still over a month left before the Black Ops 4 season gets underway at CWL Vegas in December, it’s clear that the competitive juices have already begun to hilariously flow.
