Team Optic’s Seth “Scump” Abner recorded a memorable grapple gun highlight of his own in Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s Blackout, but it probably wasn’t what he intended.
Trapped after falling on the side of the Hydro Dam, Scump tries to grapple his way to the top of the structure, only to miss and fall to his death. He gets a tiny window to try and save himself, but it isn’t enough.
Streamers have posted impressive killstreaks and maneuvers using the grapple gun during Blackout’s private beta, but Scump’s is one of the most memorable.
“That is so stupid, man,” a shocked Scump told Twitch chat after the fall.
The Blackout Private Beta ends on Monday, but it’s provided many in the community a chance to get hands on experience or watch Call of Duty’s new battle royale mode firsthand.
Black Ops 4 is scheduled to come out on October 12, and after the Blackout beta, It has established itself in the community as one of the most anticipated titles of the year.
