Modern Warfare 3 players are once again putting the game on blast, with many hitting out at the “atrocious” spawns that keep getting worse.

From players demanding a gun cocking animation to be removed to various rants about skill-based matchmaking, Modern Warfare 3 has received its fair share of criticism since its launch in late 2023.

The devs have somewhat taken community feedback on board and made different changes across the board, although, it appears the game’s spawns are gradually getting worse as time goes on according to some.

MW3 players claim “atrocious” spawns are getting worse

In a January 22 Reddit thread, one player kicked off a discussion amongst the community regarding MW3’s spawn points. While the criticism is nothing new, players are claiming the “atrocious” spawns are steadily getting worse.

“The spawns have gotten atrocious,” the player wrote. “Seriously I don’t understand what was change but it made it so so much worse constantly constantly spawning on top of the other team or the other team spawning on me.

“Not even the revenge spawns bullsh*t. Like I’m spawning into direct gunfire on LARGE MAPS not even shipment,” they explained. “What the actual f**k?”

They added: “I’ve never seen a game launch so flawlessly and steadily get worse with every update like this one has. It’s unreal.”

In the replies, it appears that many agree with the MW3’s major flaw. “It’s revenge kill after revenge kill. It’s truly wild. I can’t remember it being like that in any other COD,” said one.

“Yeah, it’s laughably stupid,” wrote another, meanwhile others claimed the spawns are the worst part of the game. “Makes no sense at all. It’s literally the worst part of the game for me,” they explained.

Despite the devs already making some considerable changes in recent patches, such as disabling certain killstreaks nearby spawn points, its clear players still want more tweaks.
