An image has been posted on the official Twitter page of the popular game Fortnite: Battle Royale that contains what could potentially be a huge teaser.

The image is an advertisement for the new Chromium Outfit skin and Persuader pickaxe, but fans and players have paid attention to something else entirely.

This was the image that was tweeted on the Fortnite Twitter page on May 10th.

While initially difficult to spot, many were quick to realize that one of the dog tags worn by the Chromium character features what could be the logo of the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

While not exactly identical, the logo on the dog tag features what appear to be four orange lines, which many are comparing to the unmistakable orange Roman Numerals that make up the Black Ops 4 logo.

For those who may be confused as to how or why this would make any sense, there have been heavy rumors and unconfirmed reports that the next title in the Call of Duty franchise will have a Battle Royale mode.

Furthermore, the CEO of CoD’s publishing company Activision specifically mentioned Fortnite by name in their recent financial call, describing the game’s strong success as a positive direction for the online gaming community.

If indeed Activision and developer Treyarch do decide to include a Battle Royale mode in Black Ops 4, perhaps teaming up with Fortnite’s successful developer Epic Games would be the best approach.

However, until anything regarding this is officially discussed or confirmed, than this potential teaser should only be considered speculation.
