‘Blackout’ Battle Royale Mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 May Only Support 60 Players

The upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has generated a substantial amount of hype throughout the gaming world, especially surrounding the ‘Blackout’ Battle Royale mode.

While a collection of other Battle Royale titles have been known to support lobbies of 100 players each, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 may be taking a different route with their spin on the popular genre.

A Reddit user by the name of jerm500 posted an image of the supposed ‘Blackout’ lobby, which appears to show that the mode will hold 60 players, compared to the typical 100 in Fortnite, PUBG, and other games.

Some community members have voiced concern with the prospect of the mode potentially ‘only’ containing a total of 60 players, yet nothing has been confirmed by Treyarch at this time.
