Former NFL star Le’Veon Bell hit out at Jake Paul after his win over Ryan Bourland, calling on the YouTuber-turned-boxer to take on better competition.

Since diving all the way in with boxing, Jake Paul has been no stranger to getting called out from all corners of the sporting world. The YouTuber-turned-boxer has dealt with his fair share of MMA fighters claiming they could beat him, as well as athletes from other sports looking to make their first move into the fighting world.

Prior to his win over Ryan Bourland, where Jake delivered yet another first-round knockout, the ‘Problem Child’ was called out by current NFL star Tyreek Hill. The Miami Dolphins receiver stated that he’d fight Jake inside the boxing ring or inside the MMA cage – it didn’t matter to him.

He’s not the first football star to target the YouTuber-turned-boxer, however, as former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell has also weighed in.

That’s right, the three-time pro bowler has reignited his beef with Jake, urging the 27-year-old to start fighting some better standard of fighters.

“Lol bra, this is laughable… I don’t even care if he decides to fight me or not, just fight somebody who actually knows how to defend themselves…,” the running back said, responding to a video of Jake’s stoppage.

Fans quickly urged Bell to fight Jake, and he quickly turned that into a roast of his opponent. “Bourland don’t ever need to step in a boxing ring again.. after watching him fight, I’d never agree to fight him… lol he literally curled up in a corner, that’s what you do when you don’t know how to defend yourself… he doesn’t belong in the ring, EVER again… he sucks,” he added

Jake has already confirmed that he’ll return to the ring in late April. However, as is becoming common with his fighter, his opponent remains a mystery as of yet.

It’s unlikely that he’ll fight Bell, seeing as he’s put his focus on ‘real boxers’ but the ex-NFL star clearly has some interest.
