Apex pro Matthew “Emtee” Trengrove from Moist Esports hit a Kraber trickshot to win a group stage match at the 2023 Apex Legends Global Series Championship, with the moment instantly going viral.

The ALGS Championship started on September, 6 with players competing for a $2 million prize pool.

Moist Esports is one of the teams competing in the competition, and although not among the favorites for the top prize, they are well-supported thanks to their connection to YouTuber Moist Crit1Kal.

And their support may have shot up even further, when one of the Moist players, Emtee, hit a game-winning trickshot with the Kraber, like something out of a MW2 sniping montage.

ALGS Kraber trickshot goes viral

Moist took a horizon lift ability as they hunted down the last team on the map. Emtee was the last to use the lift, and as he is mid-air, he spins around multiple times, roughly a 720, with the Kraber, before firing and hitting a member of the enemy team.

“What?! What a beast?!” the commentators explained. “Would you ever think you’d see that on-stage at lan?!”

Apex Legends fans were also shocked by Emtee’s audatious trickshot. “That was a legitimate trick shot too lmao,” one said. Another responded, “watching that live was insane, the crowd lost it.”

Moist finished the game with 12 placement points and 5 kills, putting them in 9th position going into the bracket stage with a total of 124 overall points. They are behind DarkZero, who are in the lead with 176 points going into the bracket stage, and remain the overwhelming favorites.

Moist Esports team was founded in 2021 by Charles White Jr., also known as MoistCr1TiKaL. He retweeted the clip on Twitter, but fans are eagerly anticipating a live reaction to the trickshot by his player: “Was Charlie watching that moment? Any clip of his reaction?”
