Naturally, the game’s fanbase has always had their favorites that dominate every single match in the game, with some Legends being left on the sidelines.
However, Apex Legends players believe some of these characters are far better than people think they are, and could even change the game’s meta entirely in its 20th season.
Apex Legends fans share characters that deserve more respect

Their choice is Valkyrie: “But what stood out to me is Valkyrie because her perks can bring her back to her pre-nerf version of her. Where her tactical can have improved handling or more fuel. Plus, her Ultimate can go as high as she used to when you reach Level 2.”
However, the majority of the community believes there are two other Legends who are far more deserving of respect: Vantage and Rampart.
The top comment in the thread mentions Vantage due to the following reasons: “Scanning recon and control beacons gives all the info you need to play efficiently.”
Another user mentions how this has been the case since Vantage came to the game, even to the point of her getting a buff that “made her even better.”
Rampart has numerous mentions in the thread, with one Apex Legends player saying: “The ranked meta seems to be extremely fast and third party heavy so a defense legend can really slow down third party advances.”
Some users say they have begun winning more matches in the game since becoming Rampart mains, speaking to their viability in the game’s meta.
While many Apex Legends players will have their opinions about who they think should get more love, it is clear that Vantage and Rampart are making their mark on the meta.
