One Piece Chapter 1105 sets up a mysterious arrival

We’re taking a look into who could be on their way to Egghead Island in One Piece after Chapter 1106 brought the conflict to a peak.

As the tense situation on Egghead Island ramps up in One Piece, with characters at the mercy of the villains and an escape plan going awry, things look pretty bad for the Straw Hat pirates and their friends until we catch word that someone is on their way. One thing’s for sure: they’re no friend to the Marines.

Chapter 1105 of One Piece, titled “Height of Folley,” is a busy one, with the situation moving extremely fast. Still, anyone who’s read the chapter could tell you that while not much actually happens, this is prime setup material for the following chapter of One Piece’s manga. Let’s just say Luffy and his friends could use a hand right now.

One Piece Chapter 1105 sets up mysterious arrival

A quick rundown of the situation: Saturn arrives on the scene after a lackluster assault from Kizaru to deal with Vegapunk, Kuma, and Bonney; Luffy briefly vanishes from the action as Franky and Sanji protect the reunited family. Luffy has since reappeared with a full belly as Egghead Island gets bombarded by the Marines.

As Saint Saturn declares the infamous Buster Call, he and Kizaru stay on Egghead, presumably to ensure the destruction of the island and Dr. Vegapunk or just to revel in the sadism. Rubbing it in further, the member of the Five Elders points out that they caught wind of a passenger ship, probably full of the evacuees from Egghead, and that a warship has been ordered to destroy it and all aboard.

Meanwhile, we find out that said warship has failed to intercept the passenger ship and has been attacked, and an unknown party has managed to save the innocent passengers. We have yet to determine who this mysterious party is. Still, we can hazard a guess that this could be the Revolutionary Army led by Luffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon, on his way to save his old friend Dr. Vegapunk since Shaka, one of Vegapunk’s satellites, made contact with the Revolutionary to say that he thinks his death is imminent.

Is Dragon on his way to save his old friend and possibly finally meet his son Luffy? We’ll find out in the next chapter of the One Piece manga coming very soon.
