A mom was beside herself when the waitress served her 12-year-old daughter a spiked mocktail.

TikToker Brynn Chilson shared a video to the platform of her encounter with her server after they gave her 12-year-old daughter a spiked mocktail.

Though others in Brynn’s dinner party heard her ask for a drink off the mocktail menu, the server must have heard otherwise.

However, Brynn has come to her own defense, saying nobody should serve alcohol to anyone who looks under the age of 30 without asking to see an ID.

Mom says she’ll test every drink her daughter is served from now on

In the video, Brynn explained that she “posted this to warn people to be careful when ordering mocktails” because she would “hate it if somebody lost their sobriety” because of a similar situation.

During her now-viral TikTok video, Brynn can be seen questioning the server after they brought a spiked mocktail to the table for her young daughter, “We obviously ordered off of the mocktail menu where it said ‘mocktail.’”

Brynn’s friend then came to her defense, saying the bottom of the menu suggested customers ask to add alcohol for an additional price, to which the mom did not do.

Distraught, Brynn then asked the server, “She’s only 12 years old, what if she would have drank that?” To which the server responded, “That’s why I took it back off the table.”

Brynn then went on to express how concerning the situation was as she defended herself from the negative commenters who asked her why she ordered a 12-year-old a “mocktail” to begin with.

However, there were viewers who were on Brynn’s side, as many shared their own stories.

“I got served an alcoholic beverage at BWW while I was pregnant… ordered a mocktail as well,” one wrote

“My wife has been twice served alcoholic drinks after we requested non alcoholic since getting sober,” someone else said.

To ensure her daughter never gets served alcohol ever again, Brynn said she will be testing her beverages going forward. It is unknown, at this time, if the server faced repercussions for her mistake.
