Dobby the Labradoodle is going viral on TikTok after his owner revealed he understands Harry Potter spells as commands.

One TikToker has wowed fans after revealing in a recent TikTok video that she has taught her dog almost every Harry Potter spell.

The video, which now has more than 370,000 views at the time of writing, has been going viral all over TikTok but in particular, with Harry Potter fans.

“So if Dobby responds to Harry Potter spells, does that make him a wizard? Or does that make me a witch casting spells on my muggle dog?” she joked in her caption.

Throughout the video, owner and TikToker Audriana Li, who runs dobbyisafreedoodle on Instagram and TikTok, explains how and why she taught Dobby to understand Harry Potter spells.

The video includes multiple cuts of Dobby the Labradoodle responding to various Harry Potter spells as if they are typical dog commands. “I knew long before Dobby came along that I would train my future dog with ‘Harry Potter’ spells instead of regular commands,” she captioned the recent viral clip.

“I love feeling like I have real-life magical powers every time I ask him to come, stay, or play dead.”

“Accio (come / recall) was the first spell Dobby learned at 11 weeks old, and [my partner] Liam was actually the one to teach Dobby to Accio!” she added

As well as this, the TikToker revealed that Dobby understands that “expelliarmus” means “drop it,” “wingardium leviosa” is for “jump up,” and “go to Azkaban” is the command to get into his crate.

Fans have been flooding the video with comments, expressing their amazement and surprise at Dobby understanding multiple Harry Potter spells.

One user wrote, “Red fur and a hand me down robe? Must be a Weasley!” Another added, “This is so cool! They should make another movie and put him in the cast!”
