As time marches on older Pokemon cards get harder to find, and of course the rarer ones can become like gold dust, but one Pokemon TCG collector recently pulled an “impossible” card.

There are plenty of rare cards tucked away in the vast library of Pokemon TCG releases. The series has been going for nearly three decades, and while plenty of people have some classic cards tucked away in an attic or a forgotten shoebox in the garage, some cards are nearly impossible to find.

Of course, every Pokemon TCG collector hopes to bag one of these elusive cards, the sort of diamond in the rough that makes any other collector jealous and can likely fetch a pretty penny online.

That’s why Pokemon TCG fans are so impressed with one collector’s seemingly “impossible” pull, and fans are blown away at the rare find.

Rare Charizard card gets pulled by lucky Pokemon TCG fan

Pokemon TCG fan u/Feisty-Limit-1947 recently shared a post on Reddit, asking “Should I still be getting excited to pull this in 2024?” Well from the reaction online, the answer is a resounding yes.

Answering the question posed by the original post, one comment adds, “It’s the only card to be excited to pull in darkness ablaze lol.” Before another person says, “This card is impossible to pull. Yes you should be happy.”

Other comments seem just as happy for the person behind the post, with a person exclaiming, “Yea it’s a classic!” Then another person adds cheerily, “A Charizard is always a Charizard no matter how cool or bad the art looks, pulling one still feels 10/10”.

Finally, a different user laments their own pull, with a comment saying, “Man.. I sold my PSA 10 copy for almost $300 after it dropped. What a time.”

It’s clear that no matter which Pokemon TCG set you collect if there’s a Charizard in there, it’s likely one of the most important cards to pull.
