Where to find and catch Tocotoco in Palworld

Tocotoco Palworld

Most Pall Tamers will be on the hunt for Tocotoco thanks to its excellent Partner Skill. Here’s where to find and catch Tocotoco.

Palworld’s vast roster of creatures to collect should have you scrambling to fill your Paldeck with every Pal you see. Of course, some you’ll want to track down faster than others.

Some are gifted combatants, others are handy to have around your base for their skills in tasks like mining or smelting ingots. Tocotoco is an idiotic bird Pal who’s not particularly good at either but there is one big reason you’ll want to locate one ASAP.

Tocotoco’s Partner Ability lets you pick it up and use it as a makeshift grenade launcher that decimates other Pals. So, here’s where to find and catch Tocotoco in Palworld.

How to find Tocotoco in Palworld

If you’re patient, you can wait for a horde of suicidal Tocotoco to attack your base in a raid and catch one then. If you can’t wait to get your hands on your own grenade launcher, Tocotoco can be found in two locations:

  • The desert region in the center of the map east of the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant fast travel point
  • The larger desert Island that dominates the northeast of Palworld’s map

We’ve pinned Tocotoco’s locations in Palworld on the map below.

How to catch Tocotoco in Palworld: Battle tips

As we said earlier, Tocotoco is not a particularly tough encounter unless you’re caught unaware by its self-destructive explosions. It’s a Neutral Pal so bring a Dark Pal if you’re desperate for efficiency.

Most Tocotoco spawn at level 17 or above so while you can use a regular Pal Sphere to capture one, your safest bet is a Mega Pal Sphere.
