A new Overwatch 2 bug lets Baptiste heal through walls and it could mean the support hero will be banned.

Numerous game-breaking bugs in Overwatch 2 have resulted in heroes being banned until the problems can be fixed, as we’ve seen Bastion, Torbjorn and most-recently, Hanzo get removed from play.

The latest issue making waves comes in the form of Baptiste’s healing, which players have discovered can actually heal teammates through walls.

In a post gaining traction on X, Overwatch League pro Rakattack revealed how the bug works and players were instantly mindblown.

According to Rakattack, the bug only works with thin walls, but it can be very effective at topping off low-health teammates fighting in small rooms or on other sides of map geometry.

For instance, Baptiste can heal an ally on the other side of the glass wall where teams fight for possession of the Push robot on Colosseo.

He can also heal through the high ground right by the first objective of Havana, and those are just the spots discovered so far.

“Play around with the splash angles because sometimes straight-on doesn’t work,” he added on X.

In the comments, users were quick to campaign for a ban. One sarcastically remarked, “Oh I hope he doesn’t get removed from comp.”

“Oh no it would be so terrible if Blizzard banned Baptiste from ranked oh no pls Blizzard don’t do it,” commented content creator NyanSox.

So far, Blizzard has yet to respond to the bug, but we’ll keep you posted if the Haitian healer ends up getting removed from the game until they can implement a hotfix.
