A Zoo being visited by streamer N3on was forced to evacuate everyone inside it after viewers “swatted” the place.

“Swatting” has been a big problem for several streamers. It involves falsely calling in law enforcement, sometimes even counter-terrorist teams to a location in order to investigate the streamer being targeted.

While it normally happens when a streamer’s address is discovered, resulting in a visit from the police mid-stream, it can also happen in public places during IRL streams, as N3on discovered when visiting a zoo.

N3on and his security team were walking around the enclosures when they were approached by a worker at the zoo, who asked them to stop streaming while the venue was evacuated.

To make matters worse, the zoo was also hosting a birthday party, which had to be disrupted during the evacuation.

When he found out, N3on said: “No way there’s a birthday party happening. Oh my god, they just swatted a birthday party. That’s not right. Nah, that’s actually messed up.”

His security team immediately knew what was happening, and escorted the streamer out of the zoo, telling him: “You know what happened.”

Members of staff at the zoo were more confused, with several of them saying that “they didn’t have much information” about what was going on.
