BoomTV’s latest Code Red tournament for Fortnite Battle Royale has come to a close, with Ghost Gaming professional players Timothy ‘Bizzle’ Miller and Dylan ‘Dmo’ Moore taking home first place by a very slim margin.

This week’s Code Red Fortnite tournament was played on March 15 and featured some of the biggest names of the battle royale community, all battling it out for a share of the $10,000 prize pool.

A full recap and final standings are available below, and if you are not familiar with the format used in the tournament, make sure to read up on that in the format and rules section included later in the article.

RESULTS – Recap and Final Standings

Considering the fact that both Bizzle and Dmo are considered among the top Fortnite players in the world, it came as no shock to anyone that the pair took first place at this week’s Code Red tournament.

What was surprising, however, was that it took the duo until the sixth round and a very slim lead to claim the top spot, as they had been hanging around the top ten pretty much the entire tournament without getting a taste of first place through the first five rounds.

Epic GamesHaving won the Solo tournament at the recent Secret Skirmish, it came as no surprise that the Code Red winning duo included Ghost Gaming’s Bizzle.

The earlier rounds of the competition were dominated by Team SoloMid’s Kaysid and FaZe Clan’s Jaomock, who led the field after three of the first four rounds, thanks to the fact that they finished first, third, and fourth in rounds one, two, and four respectively.

However, starting from the fourth round, Bizzle and Dmo began taking the initiative, getting nine eliminations and a Victory Royale to propel themselves to second.

A subpar performance in round five saw them slip to third, as Ghost’s Saf and NRG Esports’ Zayt briefly took the top spot with Kaysid and Jaomock sitting in second.

In the sixth and final round, Bizzle and Dmo showed their championship resiliency by placing second and grabbing five eliminations, which was just enough to claim the top spot and secure the tournament victory.

With the tournament now all wrapped up, here are the duos that finished in the top five and earned themselves a share of the $10,000 prize pool.
