Foodies are trying London’s strawberry and chocolate cup by making it at home. Here are all the details!

The viral strawberry and chocolate cup may have originated on beautiful European streets, but people all over the world have found a way to make it at home.

Perhaps the chocolate won’t be as decedent nor the strawberries freshly picked, but the strawberry and chocolate cup 2.0 has the internet drooling.

Though it may cost you a trip to the dentist, here are all the details about how to make TikTok’s viral strawberry and chocolate cup.

TikTokers recommend adding milk to melted chocolate so it doesn’t harden

The line at London’s Borough Markets has grown significantly in size, as a vendor offers one of foodie’s latest cravings.

Though their assembly process looks different, with a spout of warm chocolate that pours into a cup of strawberries, TikTokers have tried their hand at making the strawberry and chocolate cup at home.

To make it, you’ll want to take a bag of your favorite kind of chocolate, whether morsels or a bar, and place it in a steaming bowl of hot water.

While waiting for the chocolate to melt completely, dice your strawberries as small or large as you’d like and place them inside a plastic cup.

When the melted chocolate is ready, pour a hefty helping on top of the strawberries. Grab a fork, and enjoy!

Since having gone viral, many people have commented on the hype and taste of the sweet treat, saying they “need” to try it.

One person gave a tip on how to have tastier and smoother chocolate, “If you add 2 tbsp milk and melt in microwave it won’t harden (Jamie Oliver recipe). Delish runny chocolate.” Someone else also recommended using Nutella as an alternative chocolate spread.

Though the at-home version of the strawberry and chocolate cup may seem like a lesser version of London’s origination, the simplicity of the dish makes it incredibly easy to try.
