MDNI meaning on TikTok

On social media, MDNI stands for ‘Minors Do No Interact.’ When someone uses this term, they are asking for minors to not interact with their profiles. It serves as a boundary to safeguard young users from exposure to content that may be inappropriate for their age group.

Creators who specialize in adult-themed content often use MDNI to prevent underage users from engaging with sexually explicit imagery that’s NSFW (Not Safe for Work) or violent gaming.

For example, a person who posts content related to adult-only gaming platforms, or one who shares narratives or art with sexual themes, might include MDNI in their profile description. This signals to viewers under the age of 18 that the content is not intended for them.

Similarly, TikTokers who partake in discussions or storytelling about sensitive or mature topics will use MDNI in their video captions or hashtags to caution against minor engagement. They might also include the phrase “minors DNI,” which serves the same purpose.
