Originally, these announcements were made on X, and the Baldur’s Gate 3 community conversation moved over to the subreddit.

In the post, each piece of change or content is accompanied by some kind of clever caption and humorous image to go along with it.

Players are loving them all, including the changes themselves.

“Holy crap. Dismissing companions made easier? Shield Bash works? Wrong character triggered dialogue fixes?? Am I dreaming????”

There are a good chunk of quality-of-life changes coming in the patch, and it is clear that they are striking the right cord with the fans.

“Shield Bash fix. Can dismiss party members without running all over camp. MC is prioritized in auto-started dialogue. Larian is the ultimate valentine.”

It appears to have some players wanting to start a completely new playthrough, with one user saying as much as they want to resist, they almost certainly won’t be able to.

The entire update is looking primed to continue the devs’ streak of making popular decisions in the Baldur’s Gate 3 community.
