A Palworld player was left confused and asking for help after noticing one of their Pals had confusing and contradictory ailments.

In addition to catching and battling with Pals, a major aspect of Palworld is taking care of your Pals and addressing their needs.

This isn’t always as straightforward as it sounds, though. Pals can get injured, sick, and even depressed, leaving you to deal with their physical and mental well-being.

Beyond that, though, things can get confusing when Pals develop multiple ailments that don’t really make sense together, as one player learned when trying to care for an Eikthyrdeer with contradictory ailments.

Palworld players suggest killing Eikthyrdee for being hungry and full

Reddit user Orej_ shared their confusing situation on the Palworld subreddit, asking the community, “Bro what do I do with this pal?”

As seen in the screenshot, their Eikthyrdeer was “Developing an eating disorder due to stress” and, somehow, had both the Starving and Overfull ailments.

Understandably, the player was quite confused at the creature somehow having both too much and too little food.

It seems that the creature got stuck – despite the user saying they set up their base in an open area – leading to the situation.

Some users suggested ways for the player to address their Pal’s problems, such as curing the eating disorder or Overfull ailment first using medicine, then feeding them to get them back to normal.

Another suggested Mind Control Meds. These require quite a bit of material to craft and are expensive to purchase from a Merchant, they do cure any and all status ailments and refill Sanity.

Most, however, suggested a more straightforward and violent solution: killing the Eikthyrdeer for meat.

“Turn the slacker into steaks!” joked one commenter. Others shared pictures of butcher’s knives and delicious-looking food to make the same suggestion.

In fairness to Eikthyrdeer, it is a pretty good mount with additional Lumbering benefits. However, if the cost and effort to cure the Pal is this high, it might be best to simply catch another one.
