A TikToker is being slammed on social media for promoting allegedly “illegal” money practices and encouraging others to mimic her actions.

For many, managing money and sustaining a frugal lifestyle is a difficult line to walk. As such, many influencers and content creators have moulded their content to help others improve their savings, hoard for travel and discover new hacks and tricks to make the most of their money.

TikToker Psmillan, a self titled “investor” on the app, has been going viral across social media for her recent string of videos showcasing how she is seemingly able to make thousands of dollars a week and live a comfortable life with no job but simply through bolstering her credit score.

And while the content creator may not see the potential repercussions of her actions in sharing her hacks online, other social media users have begun slamming them for what many have labeled as “fraud” and “illegal” actions.

One TikToker commented “You all really letting this girl help y’all publicly commit fraud. Someone just went to federal prison for doing similar sh*t she’s ‘teaching’ you all. Also you’re getting cooked on Twitter.”

Twitter account TikTokInvestors shared some of Psmillan’s clips online, garnering a major response and huge backlash from others.

TikTokInvestors captioned their post, “Her whole page is just a crime.” Another user added, “I went down this rabbit hole the other day this girl is going to PRISON.”

Thirdly, another Twitter user commented, “The IRS agent watching this is crying of happiness.”

Time will tell if Psmillan shuts down her account or is faced with any consequences or punishment for the way in which she is seemingly working around the system.

However, we’ll be sure to keep you updated if there are any new developments in this situation.
