An American in Paris? Well, it’s soon to be once again, with Lily Collins revealing a major update for Emily in Paris Season 4.

Impeccable fashion, catty comments, and a whole lot of confusion over why the titular character seems to know no French, Emily in Paris has been a surprise hit on Netflix since its debut in 2020.

The basic premise follows Chicago marketing executive Emily Cooper, who is hired to provide an American perspective at a marketing firm in Paris.

With Season 3 airing in 2022, fans have been desperately waiting for a new instalment, with Lily Collins finally issuing the Season 4 update for Emily in Paris we’ve all been waiting for.

The Instagram caption reads: “Did someone say Saison Quatre?! Finally reunited with my @emilyinparis fam back in Paris and it feels so good. Although, I may need to brush up on my selfie skills for Emily’s sake…”

The announcement was later confirmed by Netflix – although no further details for Emily in Paris Season 4 have been announced yet.

So far, we know that alongside Collins, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, Lucien Laviscount, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gouery are all returning.

Lily Collins also announced Emily in Paris Season 4 via Instagram back in January 2022, with her caption reading: “Say ‘bonjour’ to 3 & 4! EMILY IS OFFICIALLY RETURNING FOR TWO MORE SEASONS!” The series was green-lit shortly after Season 2.

“She’s annoying but whenever a new season comes out I’ll watch it. Hopefully, Sylvie & Chef Gabriel will get more scenes!” one fan posted on X/Twitter in response to the news.

“I mean good for her, but seeing this after all those cancellations yesterday… heavy sigh,” another user disagreed, while another countered: “People saying \why this trash series getting renewed every single time?!’ knowing DAMN well they will be tuning in the day it’s released.”

“Me knowing already I’ll absolutely despise every second of it but won’t be able to stop myself from watching,” a third fan weighed in.

The series currently doesn’t have a release date, though given that filming is just about to start, fans might be kept waiting a while for new episodes.
