Jake Paul trolls John Cena in first meeting

Jake Paul hilariously trolled John Cena during their first meeting shortly before the 16-time WWE world champion appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.

American professional wrestler and actor John Cena‘s iconic catchphrase “You can’t see me” has become the source of many a meme across the internet.

While the catchphrase is supposed to indicate that Cena moves too quickly for his opponents to register his next move, internet users have taken it literally, pretending the WWE star is invisible.

Now, professional boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul has joined in on the joke, trolling Cena during their first meeting before the latter appeared on an episode of Logan Paul‘s Impaulsive podcast.

Posting to his TikTok account, Jake shared the hilarious encounter after Cena visited him during training at the boxing ring.

In the video, Jake walked straight past the celebrity wrestler, saying, “John, bro, what’s up, man? Dude, I’m a huge fan.”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” Cena responded. Logan then stepped in to direct his brother to the right location; “Jake, Jake! He’s here.”

“I couldn’t see him,” Jake captioned the TikTok, which quickly went viral with over 700,000 views in just six hours.

Cena later discussed the iconic meeting with Logan while appearing on Impaulsive, revealing he has “not once” gotten sick of the invisible joke.

“I went through a stretch where I was like, ‘Man, this has got some staying power,’ ’cause like the first time I heard it might have been ’09… it’s 2024 and I still am invisible,” Cena said, before stating he was “so happy” to meet Jake and considers the younger Paul brother an “inspiration.”
