One Starfield player has revealed that they have only discovered a major Outpost in the game after already sinking 800 hours into the RPG.

Starfield was one of the biggest releases of 2023, breaking records on Xbox Game Pass and becoming one of the top titles for the Big Green Machine.

With multiple areas to explore and over 100+ hours of content to dive into, players are still discovering new areas, quests, and more within the game months after launch.

Now entering its second year, the game is still providing content for fans to dive into, even those who have sunk hundreds and hundreds of hours into the RPG title.

In light of this, one Starfield player has taken to Reddit to reveal that after 800 hours of gameplay, they are still managing to stumble across new outposts and areas of the game yet unseen.

The Redditor captioned the thread, “800+ hours in and just discovered this place on Maheo I… insane this is just a random POI and not tied to a quest.” Including various photos of the location on top of the initial reveal.

Fellow Starfield players have flooded the comments of the Reddit post, sharing their own experiences with coming across new content in the game’s hours into the journey.

One Redditor commented, “Become a completionist. Then there’s plenty to do.” Another added, “This is not a random POI, it’s basically the only damn place in the entire universe that you can reliably get a swimsuit.”

However, other players noted that mods have become an effective way to ensure replayability in the game, with one particular mod allowing outposts to appear anywhere. A feature that fans playing on consoles would love to see added to the game on all versions.

“When people talk about waiting for mods, this is one of those times. God I hope modders are interested in outpost upgrades and making things like that. I would KILL to have a massive bunker base that looks like this. A boy can only dream.”
