A piece of Pokemon history is brought back to life with this fantastic fan art, which imagines what the classic Pokemon Stadium minigame Clefairy Says might look like with a modern remake.

Some people will argue that Pokemon Stadium was all about battling. There were battles in the game, sure, but the overriding memory for most young gamers is of blasting through the minigames, like trying to chuck an Ekans around a Diglett, or a fierce Rattata race.

The classic Nintendo 64 title has a certain nostalgic grip on the community, and while it is finally available as part of Nintendo Switch Online, many eager Pokemon fans still want to see what the title might look like in the modern day.

Thankfully, we don’t have to just imagine, as there are some very talented folks out there in the Pokemon community, and one person in particular has brought the classic Pokemon Stadium minigame Clefairy Says to life like never before.

Clefairy Says look at this incredible Pokemon Stadium fan art

In a Reddit post shared by the talented artist u/Biochao, they share a video showing an incredibly detailed video featuring a 3D remake of the original Clefairy Says minigame.

The artist confirms in the comments that they made this homage with Blender, and other Pokemon fans in the comments are going wild for this gorgeous interpretation.

One comment adds, “the squeaky hammer makes me laugh everytime lol.” Then, another user says, “Oh my god yes. My friend and I got so god damn good at these mini games it was insane. We’d play vs the hard bots and blast them every time.”

The minigame also seems to be dredging up some memories for Pokemon fans, as one person adds, “Oh god this triggered repressed trauma in me. I love it.”

Finally, some others just commended the artist’s work, with one comment praising them, saying “Beautiful animation, looking forward to some of the other mini-games hopefully. This was really well done!”

It seems unlikely we’ll get another Pokemon Stadium anytime soon, but art like this is a great way to relive some memories or nightmares, depending on how good you were at the game.
