The Pokemon Go December Community Day has been announced and it will undoubtedly be the biggest of 2019!
Last year's bumper December Community Day was unanimously praised by Pokemon Go trainers. It looks like Niantic have taken note and are looking to emulate it with another huge two-day community day event to conclude 2019.
All of 2019 headlining Pokemon will return alongside an array of bonuses. That's not all though, the community day (or days) will last longer than first thought.
When is the December 2019 Community Day?
It was initially thought that the Pokemon Go December 2019 Community Day will take place on December 14 and 15, 11am to 2pm local time. This would have meant the event would take place over the two days but only be for a total of 6 hours — which would have perhaps been a little disappointing for Pokemon Go players.
However, the latest announcement seems to indicate otherwise. The official community day page simply says: "DEC 14・15, 2019 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M." This, if correct, suggests the event will last for a total of 36 hours, which is great news for trainers.
Elsewhere, on the page it says bonus times will take place from 11am to 2pm local time. This likely means all 11 headliners from 2019 will be available for the 36 hour duration, while the bonuses (see more on them below) only between the usual community day times.
Which Pokemon will headline?
Now it has been confirmed that this year's headliners will all feature in the Pokemon Go December Community Day, we now have full list which is as follows (listed in the order they appeared in 2019):
The gang’s all here for a very special two-day #PokemonGOCommunityDay in December!

What about the bonuses?
All of the usual bonuses from the 2019 community days will feature in December. They are three-hour lures, 2x catch Stardust, 2x catch XP and perhaps most excitingly 1/2 egg hatch distance.
So, make sure you incubate your eggs during the three-hour bonus window to get the hatch discount.
It's safe to say Pokemon Go players will be doing their best to make sure they're available for this huge weekend of action.
