One player shared a video of them defeating the level 45 Jormuntide with tactics similar used in Fortnite, and shocked the rest of the community.

Fortnite and Palworld are both games that soared in popularity not long after release thanks to their casual-friendly and moreish gameplay.

However, the two are totally different in the actual experience and genre of game that they offer. Fortnite is a battle royale, and thrives on player versus player combat, with an item shop that contains multiple cool skins.

Or at least people thought the games had little similarities before seeing one player utilize Fortnite strategies to take down a difficult Palworld boss.

Palworld player Fortnite “box fights” Jormuntide

One player shared the “unique” strategy that they used to defeat the level 45 boss Jormuntide, and it shocked the rest of the community.

“This is how I caught Jormuntide,” they said.

The video showed the player using wooden walls and a roof to create a box, similar to how the top players in Fortnite fight, to capture the head of Jormuntide for free damage. The Palworld community couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

“I have to ask, how on earth did you think of doing this,” said one person. “This wasn’t on purpose haha,” the player admitted.

“He got boxed,” said another baffled viewer, referencing the tactic used in Epic Games’ Battle Royale. “It’s Fortnite all over again lmao,” agreed another fan.

However, other players worried that this could be a signifier for what the rumored PvP feature could look like: “I’m just thinking.. when they release PVP for this game, this is how fights might look like”.

If Pocketpair does decide to integrate PvP into the game, Dexerto will be sure to keep players updated with the best tactics so you can beat all your friends – and maybe even catch their Pals with a Radar Sphere.
