Which 2024 NFL Draft prospects are attending the NFL Scouting Combine?

Hunter Haas
The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine begins this week, with over 300 NFL Draft prospects appearing in Indianapolis

The NFL Scouting Combine is a who’s who in the football world. All 32 teams spend the week evaluating hundreds of NFL Draft prospects.

One of the final steps of the draft process is the NFL Scouting Combine. Most scouts already have enough tape to build a draft profile, but the Combine allows them an up-close look at prospects.

Each team’s front office gets an opportunity to conduct one-on-one interviews and request specific workouts. General managers, head coaches, and assistants all play a part during the NFL Scouting Combine.

Big-time media personalities will also be in attendance. Pat McAfee and Rich Eisen headline the star-studded cast, with nearly every football publication sending their best to cover the event.

Quarterbacks

Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels are opting out of throwing at the NFL Scouting Combine. Instead, the two former Heisman winners will throw at their Pro Day later in the offseason.

Still, J.J. McCarthy, one of the most polarizing quarterback prospects, is expected to take the field. He will draw considerable interest from teams.

Wide Receivers

Marvin Harrison Jr., widely considered the best prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft, will also sit out the workout portion of the NFL Scouting Combine.

Unlike quarterbacks, wide receivers are not knocked as much for sitting out, as it is much easier to injure themselves running routes. It won’t impact Harrison’s draft stock.

Linebackers

Payton Wilson has an important week ahead of him, as the often-injured NC State product must pass the team’s medical checks to be considered an early-round prospect.

If doctors are happy with what they see, Wilson could be the first linebacker taken at the 2024 NFL Draft.

Defensive Backs

The cornerback position lacks a clear number one prospect, as Quinyon Mitchell, Nate Wiggins, Kool-Aid McKinstry, and Terrion Arnold continue jockeying for position.

How these prospects perform at the 2024 Scouring Combine could determine which order they come off the board at the NFL Draft.
