Dua Lipa set up a series of ‘New Rules’ in terms of dating with her hit single. While her ‘Training Season’ of, well, training men has seemingly ended, according to her music video, Lipa still sees hearts in her eyes.

Throughout her career, she’s been linked up with several men in the entertainment business. From Jack Harlow to Trevor Noah, Lipa isn’t a stranger to letting love lead the way. In 2023, Lipa also dated French director Romain Gavras, most known for helming music videos for the likes of Kanye West and M.I.A.

With a brand new year, there comes a brand new beau. In January 2024, the pop singer was spotted with a new handsome fella, and things seem to be going well. Here is who Dua Lipa is currently dating.

Obtained by TMZ, a video released in January 2024 indicated Dua Lipa had a new lover in her life, or at least a sweaty fling. Later, it was confirmed she was canoodling with British actor Callum Turner, who has appeared in such films as Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

Turner and Lipa were spotted in countless places in the ensuing weeks, including afterparties for the Grammy Awards and the BAFTAs. Of course, they’ve also been seen on plenty of PDA-filled dates in Santa Monica and elsewhere, clearly enjoying each other’s company.

It’s currently unclear how the two met, but an interview with Rolling Stone shed light on what she thinks about dating in Los Angeles.

“Dating, I think overall, is just a little confusing,” she said. “It’s either through friends of friends or people you trust where you can meet new people, because [dating] is not really so straightforward when you are, I guess, a public person.”

Dua Lipa’s training season is over

Dua Lipa might be in love now, but her song ‘Training Season’ shows the singer declaring that “training season is over,” she said in another interview. After a string of very bad dates, Lipa hit up the recording studio and began hammering out the song that would become one of 2024’s best bangers.

“Like the best day-after debriefs with your mates, we had a lot of laughs and it all quickly came together from there,” she said.

While the song encompasses the “feeling when you’re absolutely done with telling people – men specifically, in this case – how to date you right, it’s also about my training season being over and me growing with every experience,” she continued.

“I have never felt more confident, clear, or empowered. And while it may be that training season is never over for any of us, you start to see the beauty in finding that person to experience it with,” she concluded. “You stop looking for the trainees and become more interested in finding someone to grow with.”

For now, that special someone seems to be Callum Turner.
