UFC 300 watch guide: Main card results from historic PPV

UFC 300 will see Alex Pereira defend his title against Jahamal Hill. Here’s a full breakdown of the card.

UFC 300 took place on April 13 as the BMF Championship bout immediately became a classic amongst fans and analysts. Alex Pereira also defended his title against challenger Jamahal Hill in the main event.

The UFC returned to pay-per-view with a stacked cast of fighters ranging from proven veterans to rising stars. Bo Nickal and Kayla Harrison notched impressive victories as they continue rising the ranks.

There were three title fights on the card, including one of the most exciting finishes in UFC history between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway. The Men’s Light Heavyweight and Women’s Strawweight straps were also on the line.

Veterans Bobby Green and Jim Miller kicked things off with a fight of the night contender. Green and and a bloodied Miller exchanged brutal shots for three full rounds. Green ultimately prevailed on the scorecards.

Rising MMA stars, Kayla Harrison and Bo Nickal, emerged victorious against two proven foes. Harrison and Nickal have the talent and skill sets necessary to be UFC champions in the near future.

Max Holloway recorded one of the most exhilarating knockouts in UFC history after sending Justin Gaethje face-first onto the mat with one second remaining to earn the BMF title.

The main event also featured fireworks by way of Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill. The two fighters were feeling each other out as the first minute ticked off the clock.

Hill inadvertently kicked Pereira in the groin, and as Herb Dean went to pause the action, Pereira shook him off and demanded the fight continue.

Mere seconds later, the first punch Pereira threw after the low blow connected, and Hill’s eyes rolled in the back of his head.

Dean called the fight, giving Pereira the victory and keeping the Light Heavyweight Championship in his possession. It was a fitting end to a spectacular UFC 300 card.
