Riot Games’ latest League of Legends original music video, ‘Awaken’, features several of the game’s champions going toe-to-toe in a series of epic battles.

As well as their appropriately adrenaline-inducing songs, Riot’s music team have become known for the spectacular visuals that usually accompany them in the music videos.

Last year’s World Championship song, Rise, for instance, told the story of the previous year’s Worlds, with Samsung Galaxy’s Kang ‘Ambition’ Chan-yong battling his way to the top of the mountain, defeating iconic players along the way.

At the 2018 World Championship itself, Riot debuted ‘Pop/Stars’ by ‘K/DA’, the music video for which features the four champions that make up the fictitious group performing in classic K-pop fashion, with the added flair available only to animation.

The latest addition to the Riot track list, ‘Awaken’ comes along with a League of Legends cinematic music video that sees various champions facing off against one another in three distinct scenarios.
