Misfits have announced the addition of former Kingzone DragonX Support Kang ‘GorillA’ Beom-hyeon to their League of Legends roster.

The signing rounds out the team’s starting roster for the newly-rebranded League of Legends European Championship (LEC), in which Misfits is one of ten franchise teams.

GorillA has been considered among the best Support players in the world for several years, and with Kim ‘PraY’ Jong-in has often been cited as part of one of the strongest bot lanes.

The move brings to an end a four-year partnership with AD Carry PraY. During their time together, the bot lane duo won three LCK titles and made it to the semi-finals and finals of the World Championship, losing to champions SK Telecom T1 on both occasions.

In addition, Misfits signed veteran top-laner Paul ‘sOAZ’ Boyer, who was previously part of the Fnatic squad that won both splits of the EU LCS in 2018 and made history by reaching the final of the World Championship.
