The League of Legends developers have finally put an end to the age-old debate over whether D or F is correct for the Summoner Spell Flash.

League of Legends players have long been divided over the game. Whether that be the state of balance, if a champion or item is OP, which character has the best skins, and more, there’s always a debate to be had.

However, all of these measly arguments pale in comparison to the age-old question of which key should you place Flash on. Flash is a vital Summoner Spell almost all champions use, meaning almost everyone has experience using the spell by hitting the D or F key on their keyboard.

Players have held an all-out war over the correct button for Flash, with the D fanboys going against the F fanatics in an epic clash that has existed since the game’s launch. However, it seems developers Riot have finally put an end to the arguing, confirming the correct key for Flash in the official patch notes.

LoL devs confirm that F is indeed for Flash

In the most recent patch notes for 14.2, Riot has gone through and fixed a bunch of bugs and issues plaguing the MOBA. Among such bugs was one that had to do with being able to Flash out of zones with the Grounded effect on them.

“Fixed a bug that caused players to be able to flash out of grounded zones they had teleported onto if they were spamming the flash key, F.”

Just like that the League of Legends developers have answered the age-old question, Flash belongs on the F key, because F is for flash, which just makes sense.
