The legendary Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok has reached yet another milestone in the South Korean League of Legends league in his 11th year as a pro.

The greatness of Faker cannot be overstated as the veteran, and part owner of T1, is playing in his 11th season and vying for his fifth League of Legends World Championship trophy in 2024. While the season is just getting underway, the player has already hit a league milestone that few other players are in reach of.

Faker started his pro LoL career in 2013 and has competed in the Korean league for T1 ever since. Unlike his peers, Faker has not swapped positions, or gone to play in another league like the LPL or LCS. Because of this, he has racked up LCK records like none other.

He holds the most games played and kills in the league, and also just crossed another milestone to cement his status as the greatest League of Legends player of all time.

Faker reaches incredible win record in LCK

After his win against DRX on February 1, a 2-0 stomp to extend T1’s regular season record to 4-1, Faker crested the 600-win mark in the LCK.

The player was already the league leader in terms of the number of wins he has accumulated, however, he has extended that record in 2024. When asked about the milestone, Faker spoke about his longevity as a pro.

T1 Faker decided to change his Worlds 2023 skin
T1 won Worlds 2023.

“It makes me realize that I’ve been playing for a long time. I want to continue collecting more victories in the future,” he told InvenGlobal.

Despite the number of wins and matches Faker has accumulated, the pro has sat out matches before, either due to injury or substitution.

The T1 mid laner shows no signs of slowing down in his career as the Championship-winning team decided to run it back with their full roster from 2023, into the 2024 season.
