Playboi Carti on Adin Ross kick stream

Adin Ross and hundreds of thousands of viewers were left seriously disappointed after rapper Playboi Carti promised to hop on his Kick stream — and it all went wrong incredibly quickly.

Playboi Carti, real name Jordan Terrell Carter, has been one of the most famous rappers of the last few years, commended for his alternative style of hip-hop and unconventional approach to creating music.

That said, he’s also a notoriously private person, almost never agreeing to do interviews or anything similar, which is why it was such a huge shock when Adin revealed that Carti would be appearing on his Kick stream.

So, after the GRAMMYs took place, Adin and his viewers waited patiently for Carti to turn up — and he certainly kept them waiting, before things went south.

Adin pays Playboi Carti for 6 min stream

On Twitter/X, Adin Ross claimed that he was paying Playboi Carti $2 million and a new Ferrari to appear on his stream, disputing a claim that he was paying $50,000.

Carti turned up two hours later, with Adin saying it was “about time” when the rapper finally arrived, telling him that there were 500,000 people waiting and they were all so excited to see him.

The pair then exchanged some awkward small talk before Adin handed Carti a huge duffel bag full of cash. Finally, within little more than 5 minutes, Carti said he was going to be leaving and headed off.

Did Adin Ross pay Playboi Carti $2m?

Without official confirmation from either party, it’s impossible to say exactly how much Adin paid Carti, though, in a call with 21 Savage following the stream, he said he “didn’t pay that” when Savage questioned the amount.

This came just days after there was some controversy with 21 Savage’s appearance on Adin’s stream, after the rapper was accused of “scamming” Adin with scratched cards.

Needless to say, when Adin has another rapper on his stream, he’s probably going to think twice about handing them a huge bag of cash.
