Helldivers 2 fans are fed up with high-rank players ruining the fun by forcing others to use meta weapons and stratagems.

Arrowhead has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from fans since they released Helldivers 2, so much so that it became one of the biggest games on Steam per Concurrent players.

Being one of the largest games on Steam comes with its benefits, like a larger revenue pool for Arrowhead to work with to provide quality updates to the game in the future, but can also cause some drawbacks like having the server overloading.

Still, despite having some server issues, players are still flocking to try out Helldivers 2, both veteran players of the franchise and casual players new to Helldivers.

But, casual players found one thing about the game that they weren’t too happy about.

Helldivers 2 fans slam complaining high-rank players

One person couldn’t believe a complaint that they saw online and immediately shared both the original quote and their own frustrations.

The original quote was a high-ranked player complaining about casual players.

“We need to set the standard for 8+ missions […] If they are using anything but the right breaker. Kick. If they have worthless stratagems that are weak. kick. If they don’t have either Rail Gun or Nade Launcher. Kick […] We need to set a standard for high-rank pug play,” they said.

But others, like the Reddit poster who quoted the complaint, were frustrated at the attitude exhibited: “Why are people like this?” they said.

Others couldn’t agree more and felt that it was sad that this kind of attitude spreading amongst high-ranking players ruined the fun for others.

“I don’t know, but the fact that people can take such a fun game and then be this serious and mean about it just makes me sad honestly”.

Still, if players can manage to block out the complaints of others, Helldivers 2 is a fantastic game that definitely warrants a try; some love it so much they are even upgrading to the Deluxe edition.
