The Finals players beg devs to nerf 'aimbot-level' aim assist

The Finals players have discovered a glitch to destroy the crane that sometimes spawns on certain maps, and it decided to turn violent once broken.

The Finals has a multitude of items and weapons littered across its various maps that players can use to their advantage. Some items, like gas and explosive canisters, can be used to eliminate enemies. Others are more neutral and are primarily intended to help players destroy buildings and expose cashboxes.

Cannons are one example, and the crane is another. The crane spawns in almost every The Finals map depending on whether they are under construction or not. Players can climb to the command center and control how it swings its wrecking ball, or climb to the top of the structure and snipe down enemies.

However, some players have found a glitch that allows for the crane’s destruction and have found just how crazy the game’s engine can be.

A crane glitch in The Finals turns violent

A Reddit user, Sad_Mistake7199, showcased how to destroy the crane on The Finals subreddit. By placing the Heavy’s shields in the command center and then destroying the base where the controls are, the game glitches out and the crane falls into the map.

However, the crane keeps its destructive aura, while violently spinning in a glitched state, and will take down any structures in its wake.

The same user uploaded a newer video to the message board of the same glitch, this time displaying just how crazy the game can be with this glitch active.

In the video, the crane can be seen destroying buildings and terrain with ease, slicing through the virtual concrete like butter. It does not seem to be able to hurt players, however, because the person who uploaded it climbed onto it and through the command center while it spun right at him.

This glitch has not been patched out of The Finals at the time of writing.
