The first PS5 details have been revealed and it turns out one leaker had them correct along. Originating from December 2018, the source listed the specs as well as a list of games we could see on the Playstation 5.

What games will be on the PS5?

The leaker’s information on the next-gen Sony console went further than the console itself, also discussing future game releases. These include both exclusive and non-exclusive titles for Playstation.

Here’s each game listed in the leak, and what we know about them so far.

Non-exclusive PS5 games

Battlefield Bad Company 3

Battlefield Bad Company 3 was one of these details. The Bad Company series has gathered a cult following over the years. However, the last edition of the game, Battlefield Bad Company 2 was last seen in 2010.

Harry Potter

Another non-exclusive game listed is simply Harry Potter. This is interesting revelation as a mainline Harry Potter game hasn’t been seen on console since 2011.

The highly anticipated mobile game: Harry Potter Wizard’s Unite is expected to release in 2019 – it will be interesting to see if this release relates to the apparent upcoming console version.

Interestingly, leaked footage of an apparent upcoming Harry Potter game appeared on YouTube in October 2018. The video was quickly blocked by Warner Bros but other footage has appeared since. Whether this is the same video as the one that was blocked is unknown. The game certainly looks like it’s designed for next generation consoles.

Then there is the big one, the game shrouded in secrecy, GTA 6. The leak of Grand Theft Auto 6 is huge gaming news. Information about the GTA map location, Sony Playstation exclusivity and whether it will release on PS4 was all listed by the leaker.

GTA fans are desperate for some Grand Theft Auto 6 news…

Assassin’s Creed

Assassin’s Creed is another touted release which shouldn’t come as overly surprising. Ubisoft’s popular series has had a new game on an almost yearly basis since its initial release in 2007.

Exclusive PS5 games

This part of the leak is somewhat confusing as the heading states “PS4 exclusive launch games”. Given the below games, we’re going to assume that it’s a typo and it should be PS5.

Gran Turismo

The first game listed is a virtual reality game: Gran Turismo 7 VR. Given the past graphical fidelity of Gran Turismo games, and it’s Playstation exclusivity, this could be a flagship game for the PS5.

The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima

The next two are more interesting unless they have been misinterpreted in translation. The Last of Us 2 Remaster and Ghost of Tsushima Remaster have yet to have their original versions released.

This means both of these games will launch for the Playstation 5 or that they are both being remastered after they’re made available on the PS4.

As always when reading leaks they should be treated so with scepticism. However, the fact this leaker did so accurately predict other details which were correct, it does make it an interesting and exciting prospect.

Apex Legends dev confirms highly-requested inventory feature coming soon

The era of ‘red dots’ littered across Apex Legends’ menu tabs will finally come to an end after Respawn confirmed they’re implementing a ‘mark all as seen’ button to the game.

Apex’s bustling community is rejoicing after the developers indicated the long-awaited quality of life update that is scheduled for the next patch, if everything goes to plan.

While fans of the game have known for a while that the feature was pending, there hasn’t been much news of it since seeing it on Respawn’s Trello board a while ago. Since the conversation’s gone dark, it’s been a waiting game to see if the developers would follow-up on the organizational feature.

Well, an inquiring fan created a mock-up of what the ‘mark all as seen’ button could look like within the character-select screen. But fiction turned into reality once Respawn Senior Game Designer, Daniel Z. Klein, chimed into the discussion.

The red dots on tabs have cursed the Apex Legends menu screen for a while.

“Could we get a ‘Mark all as seen’ button? Would be useful instead of going through all the menus to clear the icons,” user ‘TigerTankSniper’ suggested, before Klein was happy to oblige.

“Good news! That’s probably coming in the next patch! John Hodgson put that one in not too long ago,” Klein was happy to report. Hodgson is another Senior Game Designer at Respawn, who’s about to make a lot of the Apex fans really happy.

Since the launch of Apex Legends back in February 2019, there’s been a ton of content regularly injected into the battle royale. This stretches from Legends, weapon cosmetics, sky trails, holo sprays, voice lines, banners, and a lot more.

As much as the fans have loved adding troves of content to their personal libraries, every time something new gets added a small red dot appears to notify players of the change.

“I have an army of them because all the useless blue and white items I get, not really motivated enough to click on all them so now it just keeps growing bigger and bigger,” one person wrote.

The thing is, those little indicators can be persistent and a bit of a bother; hence, the quality of life update that’s coming into the game very soon.

But the community can let out a collective sigh of relief seeing as they shouldn’t be a problem in Apex Legends after the next update.
