Stellar Blade is fast approaching after years of ups and downs, but just how big is this third-person action game? Here’s what we know about its main story length and the scope of its completionist run.

First revealed back in 2019 under a different name, Project Eve, what’s now known as Stellar Blade is finally just around the corner. Locked in as a PS5 exclusive after a period in development for PC and the Xbox One, the action game has found its footing and locked in an April 26 release.

With an in-depth showcase at the most recent State of Play event, gamers have been captivated by its flashy visuals and hectic combat. But just how big can fans expect this game to be?

From a look at the main story length to a rundown on a more complete run ticking off every bit of optional content, here’s what we know about the length of Stellar Blade.

How long is Stellar Blade? Main story run

The main story of Stellar Blade is expected to run for roughly 25 hours. This insight comes from ShiftUp CEO Hyung-tae Kim in an interview with Korean outlet RULIWEB.

Obviously, it’s worth taking this information with a grain of salt for the time being, as no one else is able to verify just yet. Though as we ourselves get stuck in, we’ll be sure to update you here should that figure chance with our own experience.

How long is Stellar Blade? Completionist run

A completionist run of Stellar Blade is expected to take you anywhere between 30-50 hours. This news also comes direct from the publisher’s CEO, but of course, your mileage may vary once the game hits store shelves.

From side missions to optional challenges, skills to upgrade, and areas to scavenge, there’s sure to be plenty of content to keep players hooked in well after the main story winds down. And it appears as though we can expect to even double our playtime with this bonus content.
