A specific crash zone for the rumored Season 4 ‘Meteor’ in Fortnite: Battle Royale has potentially been revealed following a new teaser.

With Season 3 of Fortnite: Battle Royale set to come to a close on Monday, April 30th, a collection of rumors have made their way around the scene in regards to a potential ‘meteor crash.

Community members originally uncovered that Tilted Towers, one of the most popular spots on the Fortnite map for players to drop, could potentially be the target of the rumored meteor, yet many questioned the legitimacy of the claims.

Epic Games, the developer of the title, started to implement various teasers within the game to possibly hint at the impending crash, including shooting stars, a massive object in the sky, and randomized meteor strikes across the map during games.

Now that the release date for Season 4 has been announced for Tuesday, May 1st, the promotion used by Epic Games depicts four characters standing in front of a potential ‘crash site.’

However, after looking at the background behind the characters, a series of power lines can be viewed in the distance which may give away the location of the rumored crash site.

The Fortnite: Battle Royale map only has one set of power lines, which crosses by major locations such as Wailing Woods, Retail Row, and Dusty Depot.

As of writing, it is still unknown if a massive meteor will hit the Fortnite: Battle Royale map, with the ‘powerline theory’ only being a hypothesis, rather than concrete fact.
